Lullaby; Giant Void; Lusine

Lullaby

I mentioned in October that I co-directed a short film, Lullaby, with my frequent collaborator Alina Lee. Here’s the trailer.

Alina’s voice permeates every frame of this film, which is why I’m very excited for you to see it. In the meantime Alina launched a successful fundraising campaign on Seed & Spark. The money raised here will offset the up-front costs incurred for production and supplement our post-production budget. If you like what you see in the trailer and want to help, consider donating. I realize I just finished tapping you all on the shoulder for Giant Void funds. I wouldn’t be pulling the same move again unless I fully believed in this project. The Lullaby campaign closes this Friday, April 14.

Giant Void

Giant Void continues its progress slowly but surely. I’ve been working hard on finding the right person to play the lead role. Additionally, we’re scouting out locations in the Denver area and elsewhere that will a) meet the story’s needs, and b) stay within budget.

The screenplay continues to rack up points on the competition circuit, now in the top 2% of all projects on Coverfly.

Lusine

We shot a music video. As soon as I’m done writing this I’m going to close my browser, open up Premiere Pro and After Effects and continue working on post-production late into the night. Hope to have more news for you on the next update. In the meantime here’s a photo from the shoot.
